If you pay MSRP no will contact you and even a gas model will take 4-5 months. Any cancellations of other cars during that period you won't be informed. Toyota manufacturing issues apart, the dealerships have started a money making racket to worsen this. I find Subaru's Eyesight system better than the TSS in some regards, but the Forester doesn't have lane centering like the RAV4. It's really a personal preference thing between these two for me. It's a little quieter when driving. Many CR-V drivers and reviews say the real world mileage is aroound 31-33 MPG. That said, the hybrid is quieter than the gas model. Kia Sportage on paper is great. Nice interior, up to date tech, quiet cabin, and spacious. Between the two, I’d go with rav4. A base or mid-range model RAV4 is perfectly reasonable and competitive in the marketplace. You pay a premium for them used. Rav4 less than a 4Runner or, god forbid, Tacoma but it's a premium nonetheless. Their new prices are within the realm of reasonable. Nothing holds its value like a Toyota truck. .
